The Sensex rose today by 39.36 points to 20,373.63, and the Nifty started at 6,061.60 gaining by 8.15.

The Indian rupee opened higher by 6 paise at 62.37 per dollar against 62.43 Monday.

Positive opening is expected by Nifty Futures: By 10-15 points in range of 5785-5790

‪#‎BankNiftyFutures‬ is in down trend & trading near its 52-week lows which are the strong support levels of 9800. A bounce is expected from these levels as this down move is almost extended to 161.8% of the previous down move.

Stock News Today: Intraday Calls

The Indian Share Market has opened on a stable note with the Sensex gaining around 100 points. The Sensex opens up 104.85 points at 20263.97 while the Nifty gains 32.50 points at 6064.30. The Indian Rupee gained 23 paise in the opening trade on Tuesday. It has opened at 59.49 per dollar versus 59.72 Monday.

The early stock gainers in the Sensex are M&M, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Hindalco and Tata Steel.

Friday Share Market Update

The 30-share index BSE Sensex provisionally closed 258 points higher on Friday supported by firm European cues, with rate-sensitive shares leading the gains whereas the Nifty Index ended at 5,139.05, railed up 84.30 points or 1.67 percent. It touched an intraday high of 5,146.20 and a low of 5,069.15.

Last fortnight saw great volatility in gold, with gold reaching its life time high at Rs. 30,400 per 10gm in the physical market, then dropping again by almost 1000 rupees per 10 gm and then nearing back to its life time high. As on Thursday, Indian gold prices in the bullion market created a new high of Rs. 30,450 per 10 grams.

* Tata Motors surged over 5 percent in trade on Friday.
* BSE Auto Index rose 2.5 percent led by gains in Tata Motors, which was up 5.3 percent followed by Hero MotCorp, M&M which rose 3 percent and 2.4 percent respectively.
