Nifty Market Watch: September 5th, 2013

Positive opening is expected by Nifty Futures: By 110-115 points in range of 5550-5555. Nifty seems to be trading sideways

NiftyFutures seems that Nifty is trading sideways from last couple of sessions in wide range of 5300 to 5600. Any closing below or above these levels will bring 100-200 points move on that side.
>> Support for Nifty is at 5500 and 5450
>> Resistance for Nifty is at 5570 and 5610

BankNifty Futures is trading in a sideways range with more downside momentum as 90% of the stocks of the index are trading near 52-weeks lows.
>> Support for Bank Nifty is at 9050 and 8900
>> Resistance for Bank Nifty is at 9300 and 9500

Stocks to watch for today are:
>> Apollo Hospital
>> Tata Motors

‪‎NiftyFutures‬ is in down trend and closed below the important support level of 5600. So, further weakness can be expected in Nifty till 5500 levels.
>> Support for Nifty is at 5550 and 5500
>> Resistance for Nifty is at 5630 and 5680

‪‎BankNifty‬ Futures was closed near 52-week lows and not showing any signs of reversal. So, further weakness can be expected in Bank Nifty till 9500 levels.

Stock Market Updates Today

Share Market News: The Sensex today was up by 81.83 points and was trading at 19225.00, whereas the Nifty rose 20.45 points high and is trading at 5804.70.  The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.61 per cent and the BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.39 per cent. 

Stocks like Sterlite, Hindalco and Coal India gained over 1 percent. ICICI Bank slowed down in the morning trade after closing with a 3 percent gain yesterday. The stocks of ICICI as well as HDFC Bank were up 0.6 percent, followed by State Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC.

Other stocks to watch today are: ICICI bank, M&M, Dish TV, PC Jeweller, Oil India, Tata Steel.
