Share market Tips Today, 23 Nov 2012

The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 18 points to 18,535.33 and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up 4.2 points to 5,632. Stock Picks for today are: Union bank of India, Britania Industries, Coal India are the hot stocks to watch today.

Gainers: Reliance Industries, Infosys, Bharti, TCS, BHEL, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Auto and Wipro gained 0.4-1 percent.

Loosers: ITC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Cipla, M&M and State Bank of India were down 0.2-1 percent.

The 30-share BSE Sensex lost 204.97 points or 1.10 percent to 18,430.85 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 67.70 points.

Index heavyweights Reliance Industries, ITC and HDFC Bank were down 1-1.5 percent. Private sector lender ICICI Bank went down 2 percent.

 HDIL, UCO Bank, Union Bank and Prestige Estates were down 4-6 percent.
