Sensex opens high, Nifty Intraday Levels-9 August 2012

The Indian market opens on a positive note on Thursday 9 August 2012. Sensex is trading 82 points up at 17682 from Wednesday's close and Nifty is at 5361, up 23 points. The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.38 per cent and the BSE Smallcap Index moved 0.21 per cent higher. CNX Midcap index is up 0.3% and BSE smallcap index is up 0.2%.

Indian market opens on a positive note on Wednesday morning. Yesterday, the US markets ended flat with the Dow up 51 and Nasdaq up 25 odd points. Sensex opened 72 points up and is trading at 17673 from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5360, up 24 points. CNX Midcap index is up by 0.3% and BSE smallcap index is also up 0.3%.
