The
Nifty was at 5,105.95, down 14.60 points, or 0.30 percent. It has
touched a high of 5,122.80 and a low of 5,094.60 today. And sensex is
at 16,865.49, down -31.14 or 0.18%.
Falling
for the fourth-day today, the rupee tumbled to new record low of
56.57. The rupee declined for the fourth day in a row by 25 paise
against the dollar. Yesterday Reliance Industries(3.34 percent), TCS
(2.64 percent), Hindalco
Industries (1.67
percent), Mahindra & Mahindra (1.24 percent) and Tata
Motors (1.10
percent) are the major Sensex decliners.
Top
gainers of today are: Tata Motors ltd., Bharat Heavy Electricals
Ltd., Maruti Suzuku India Ltd, Coal India Ltd., and Sun
Pharmaceutical Inds. Ltd.
