STOCK MARKET UPDATES

The 50-share Nifty index ended at 5,978.45, down by 37.70 points or 0.63 per cent. It touched a intraday high of 6,042.15 and a intraday low of 5,977.30 in trade today. 

Whereas the Sensex closed at 19,658.01, down 126.07 points or 0.64 per cent. Sensex touched a high of 19,856.43 and a low of 19,654.46 in trade today. The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.12 per cent and the BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.52 per cent.
